France is bankrupt

This is what said the Prime Minister a few days ago.
I suppose it's almost true, it's sad.
For me everyone is responsible for this giant debt, but the blow of all the social policies set by the left and asked by unions throughout the 80's and 90's has finally hurt.
I think this is partly because of the 2000's demographics, the population getting older and baby boomers have begun retiring, the economy slowing down, competitivity of french labour decreasing etc, etc.
So, in this economic climate how can things go well? This problem is quite hard.
I have so much resentment towards the left parties that ALWAYS claim new social benefits for everything, for the masses. Look where and lead us, you filthy bitches!

I'll give an example of all this great ideas, if we were to listen to the left wing:
France has a huge debt in (the national) medical insurances, but we should NOT ask a fee when consulting doctors, we should NOT raise the price of medicines
As you may not know, in France there's a system of benefits for families called 'CAF', what does it do?
Mainly, if you have children younger than 18 or (22 if they're at the university) you're elligible for a state subsidized allowance :-).
How does it work?
If you have 1 child, you don't have anything.
If you have 2, then you have to earn 1 salary only (say 1500E/month), if both parents are working, then nothing.
If you have 3 kids or more, then you won the grand prize.
There are families living off allowances, because there are loads of them.
And most people a paying taxes for allowances they'll never benefit.
I agree this is part of the game of insurance, to pay for things we should never use, but the system's such that people are cheating or are only parasiting this.
ARrgh, it pisses me off.

Hello Everybody!

This morning is rather fresh, I don't know what's the temperature, however.
Summer draws to an end. What's the matter? There is no problem actually,
except that the weather will be getting colder and colder and we'll have to heat up the house, use gas, pollute, etc. That's sad, because or flat's not really well insulated it's rather old. However we're bound to move sooner or later, in the coming years.
I really wonder what'll be the cost of it all this year, the Euro has reached all time highs, the US economy seems to be slipping into a crisis - why the fuck subprimes lendings were created for? - will it end someday? Are we all broken? This is worth worrying. Still I can't do anything but to cope. What would be a smart move in this burden? As usual I think, I worry but do nothing.
But I keep faith.

holy crap! we're trapped.

Everything I do without thinking, it's so easy
I took but never bothered asking, i'm a thief
Centuries spent lying on a coffin, not so comfortable

The end of a great novel.

I've just finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Sometimes i thought it was a bit lengthy, tedious, but I was wrong, the story is wonderful.
It needs to be long, it's not all black and white, it's not simple.
It needs time to come and everything becomes clear in the light of what we learn as we go further
into the book, and we realize how much intricate these books are.
Severus Snape wasn't that bad, he wasn't bad at all. Only we're sure of it as we learn what happened in the past
in the lasts chapters, and what's awesome is that in these seven book, we think like Harry, indeed we read what Harry thinks, he's a kid, a teenager after all, thinks he grasps the world to its full extent, but actually only in the lights of its knowledge, which is limited.
However, Dumbledore had foreseen (almost) it all, and with the help of everyone, its plan worked.
This is marvelous, because as in real life, no one's nor completely bad nor good, but follows one's mind, changes, and realizes the faults. We're not sure Tom Riddle does so as he dies, but I think he does, as he finally understands what he definitely lacked and what lead him to his defeat, but there's a time to act, and when the last killing curse is cast, it is obviously too late.

I'll read it again for sure.
